I'm honored to be working on a new piece called iSondheim. I can't divulge any of the details except I'm one of 8 proud cast members and our MD and Director are two of the best in the biz. I even got to meet Steve!
When I was 19 doing regional theater in Maine I read Secrest's (Meryle not Ryan:) biography of Sondheim and sent Steve some fan mail (Sweeny Todd is why I'm in this business). He wrote me back every time! And I've always wanted to work with him/in one of his shows, and it hasn't happened...until now!
So I'm finally working on Steve's music with some of the best artists in town. It's truly an honor.
In other news--we're hanging in there at Tale! Thanks to all the fans! With the economy tanking and shows closing left and right, we're all so proud to bring you Tale 8x week at the Hirschfeld! Please keep up your support!

wow! that sounds so exciting!! can't wait to find out more! :D
I just saw you in "A Tale" on Sunday 10/26. The show is incredible with an amazing cast. By far, your performance is my favorite. It was a pleasure to see such a controlled performer with an instrument like yours. I look forward to seeing more of your work in the future.

Hi Aaron,
I will continue to see A Tale" as often as I can. Thanks for being so kind when you see me and Evan by the stage door. See you 10/29 with my students!!

congrats to you on that! that's huge! :)
If I could, I would be there every night... I saw the show in late September and came back to Mexico... The show is breathtaking!!! One of my faves!
That IS a really great biography. I read the whole thing cover to cover; it was just fascinating.
So I happened upon your blog and (while procrastinating homework) I read through the entire thing, and it was very informative and interesting!
I've been a big fan of yours ever since I saw the Lincoln Center broadcast of Light in the Piazza. It was so beautiful and moving, and I just wanted to let you know that you are one of my favorite singers on broadway!
Thanks for all the wonderful input into the life of a Broadway performer! I will definitely be continuing to read your blog! :)

I've had the great experience of designing (sets and lights) five Sondheims in my career, the greatest experience being Pacific Overtures, a truly magnificent piece of material.
Congratulations on this new project!

I'm so sorry to hear about the closing of A Tale of Two Cities tomorrow night. It was truly a marvelous production and the whole cast was fantastic. I guess that means no cast recording, which is such a shame.
Keep up your great work! Also, this blog is really great. Check out my blog! Maybe you could give me some advice. I'm not very far into thebusiness of acting.

This project sounds really intriguing. I hope it's as good as The World Goes 'Round. I'll be keeping my ear open for more info about this. I'm a sucker for Sondheim.
Hey man,
Great blog. As a fellow actor with a blog, I hope to get as well of a blog as yours. Keep up the good work and make Broadway rock!

I'm looking forward to your "Ugly Betty" episode on Thursday! 12/4.
It sure is amazing when you are able to meet the founders of the business. I personally would think "what was he like when he was my age, and how do I be more like that?" because if it worked for him, then it will work for me! Life suggestions and constructive criticism from people like that is priceless.
